Price increase from November 2024; we have managed to hold prices down to this point but materials, energy and the cost of living has forced us to raise the price of models to keep the business sustainable.
Development delays – July 2022
We are back in production but product development is on hold until the building works are completed on the workshop and office. I will update customers when new products are available
Red3 has moved -9 June 2022
and the shop has re-opened. There is still a lot of work to do in the new workshop but we are back in production.
Flat rate delivery to UK customers has been increased to £3.95 to cover increaseed charges from Royal Mail. I have checked Red3 prices against other suppliers and this still represents good value, Red3 does not aim to profit from shipping, you pay what it costs. We absorb carriage costs on larger orders as a type of discount
Turnaround
We aim post goods out within 2 working days, occasionally it may take a few days longer if stock is low and new stock has to be cast. If the is going to be a significant delay we will contact you
Sending products to the European Community
I am continuing to send goods to the EU as before, but customers should be aware they may incur additional VAT or duty fees from their own country/EU. The application of this seems to be very varied at present with some customers reporting no charges or problems and some reporting delays and charges
The trading situation between the European Union and the UK is still settling after Brexit. I have investigated the OSS (one stop shop) trading agreement and the system is heavily biased towards big businesses (no surprise) who can afford international offices. As a small trader current agency fees make prepayment of EU duty and tax prohibitive. If the situation changes I will update my site.
