      The Centurion Mk12 AVRE 105 for the Royal Engineers. The 105mm tank gun version used converted surplus Mk12 Centurions. The Pearson mine plough cleared a vehicle wide path through mine fields, while the 105mm armed Centurion was more than able to defend itself or demolish fortifications

This “stillbrew” system entered service in 1986 and proved very effective (The system went onto become better known as Chobam armour). The Mk11 also gained the TOGs thermal night vision and improved gunnery sights

      Considred the first MBT, developed at the end of WW2 and some modernised vehicles are still in use.  This late1950s version was armed with the effective 84mm 20pdr B gun with fume extractor. Exported extensively to NATO nations and around the world. It saw combat with Israeli in the 1967 war and Australia in Vietnam.

      Stalwart Mk2 amphibious truck (Waterline version)

      A waterline version of the Stalwart was developed to provide British armoured units with an amphibious all-terrain supply vehicle.  As part of the Alivis 600 series of 6×6 vehicles it proved very popular with Britsh forces but saw limited export success.
