Egyptian supply carts (x2)


Supply carts developed by Egypt to support the leading troops as they crossed the Suez Canal in 1973. approximately 2000 of these were constructed. Each cart allowed 2 men to haul up to 350kg of Weapons, food, ammunition and water to front line 1-3 miles from the Canal until bridges could be put in place. These are very similar to the Paratrooper carts of WW2. (2 carts and 4 crew)

Unpainted white metal kit, requires some modelling skill. Caution contains lead and small parts not suitable for young children

    Arab Commandos based on the troops that assaulted the Suez Canal in 1973. They wear a smock to carry all the rations and ammo they will need for the first few hours of battle. Regular Arab support can be used for heavy weapons teams

    Commando battalions were also used as airmobile units dropped behind enemy lines. (20 figs)
