Saladin Armoured Car

The Saladin is part of the Alivis 600 series of 6×6 vehicles.  Used by Britain, the Saladin became an export succes because of it was significantly cheaper than a tank but offered full armour and a useful 76mm gun. Users included West Germany, Austrailia, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and UEA. It also sold well in Afica, Aisia and South America. 2000 built between 1958 and 1972. It saw combat in the Arab Israeli wars and as late as 1990 in the first Gulf war for Kuwait.
