Tracked Rapier


British fully tracked SAM system. The tracked Rapier was designed to provide mobile air defence for british armoured units. The chasis was based on the M548 transporter and the launcher improved to carrier 8 missiles. The system was steadily upgraded through its service from 1983 to early 1990s
