Regular British infantry in Mk4 “Turtle” Helmet in light marching order. Armed with: SLR rifle, Stirling SMG, GPMP and Carl Gustav RR. Suitable for BAOR and many other theatres. ATGM carrier based on the CVRT range of light fast vehicles introduced to replace armoured cars in the British army from 1973. The Striker was opperational between 1976-2005, it carried 5 Swingfire guided missile in a hydaulicly opperated launcher at the rear of the vehicle, with 5 more reloads carried inside. Rapier system has been in service since 1971, it saw use in the Falklands conflict. The 2 launchers can be assembled* ready to launch or in towing position. There is one firing post with the gunner and commander. This represents the 1980s version.
British fully tracked repair and light recovery vehicle. This APC based machine acts as a mobile workshop and repair facilty for armoured vehicles. The rear deck well can be used to transport powerpacks and parts or tented in to serve as a field workshop. A 3t crane aids removal of damaged or failed parts.
