The S-tank or Stridsvigen 103 was a unique tank designed by Sweden in the late 1950s. As a neutral Nation Sweden forged is own path in weapons design, the S-Tank had the main gun (extra long 105 L7) rigidly fixe to the hull. The auto loader gun was and aimed by use of a sophisticated suspension system. Any of the 3 crew could drive the vehicle if needed including the rear facing radio operator. Approximately 300 produced between 1967-71, withdrawn from service early 1990s
