The Sdkfz 250/8 light half track designed to transport a 8cm Mortar team for Panzer Recce companies, the mortar could be fired from inside the vehicle or set up seperately. Many versions were produced of this useful and versatile vehicle. The Neu version was manufactured from 1943 and used a simpler armour configuration that was much easer to manufacture and provided more space in the vehicle. Crew 2+2
