An Egyptian APC inspired by Soviet BTRs on a licence build German Truck chassis. The Walid was used by Egypt in the Yom Kippur war and many were captured by the IDF.
It has proved popular, being sold throughout the middle east and Africa as an inexpensive internal security vehicle.
